His Life
Known as 'Al-Amin' (the Trustworthy) before prophethood. At age 40, he received the first revelation in the cave of Hira. He spent 23 years conveying the message of Islam despite persecution.
His Character
The Quran describes him as 'a mercy to the worlds.' He was known for honesty, kindness, patience, and justice. Even his enemies acknowledged his truthfulness.
His Role
Muslims do not worship Muhammad. He is the messenger who delivered Allah's final revelation — the Quran — and demonstrated how to live by it through his Sunnah (teachings and example).
